Sizes: 0-6 months, (4½” wide x 2⅔” long + 1¼” cuff), 6-12 months (5⅓” wide x 3⅓” long + 1⅔” cuff)

Materials: approximately ½ to ¾ ounce of weight category 4 yarn, US/UK7, 4.5mm needles or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge: 16sts/20rows=4″ [4sts/5rows=1”]

Instructions: Cast on 6sts, knit into the front & back of each stitch (12sts).
Split onto 2 needles as follows, hold 2 needles parallel Slip the first stitch onto the needle closest to you, slip the next st onto the needle furthest from you continue to end (6sts on each needle), divide onto 3 needles (4, 4, 4).
Rounds 1 & 3: Knit to end.
Round 2: Knit into the front & back of the first stitch, K4, Knit into the front & back of the next 2 stitches, K4, Knit into the front & back of the next stitch (16sts).
Round 4: Knit into the front & back of the first stitch, K6, Knit into the front & back of the next 2 stitches, K6, Knit into the front & back of the next stitch (20sts/⅔”).

For larger size only: Repeat Rounds 3 & 4 (24sts/1”).

Palm: Knit 11 (13) rounds.

Eyelet Round: (with yarn at the front K2 together) repeat to end (2, 2⅓”).

Cuff: Work 6/8 rounds in P1, K1, rib (20, 24sts) (1¼”, 1⅔”).
Bind off very loosely, weave in ends, thread ribbon through eyelets.
