I reduced the original pattern to a Newborn Size using cat4 Worsted weight yarn. This is an easy pattern to learn how to Knit sideways with short-rows at the crown, the garter-stitch fabric, I-cord detail at the edge and fold of the cuff keep it shapely, not sloppy.
MATERIALS: 1.15ozs, Any cat4 worsted weight yarn (I use 100% cotton yarn), US8/5mm straight needles or size to obtain gauge, waste yarn and crochet hook for cast-on.
